Orthotics

At Adaptive Technologies, we brace everything from your head to your toes and with multiple options, off-the-shelf and custom, for each joint. Unfortunately, many people are not aware of our services until they need us. Orthotics (bracing) are about creating a solution for mobility or alignment problems, to help people get back to their everyday lives.

We have two certified orthotists that work with all types of injuries and chronic illnesses, such as strokes, cerebral palsy, CMT (charcot-marie-tooth), osteoarthritis, and more. Whether you have suffered from a short term injury or a long term disease, we strive to fit the best device for you. What makes an orthotist unique? Their schooling provides a variety of skills, including assessment and fabrication which helps them find the best solution for each individual’s needs. At Adaptive Technologies we work closely with physiotherapists, doctors, and other allied health care professionals to create an optimal solution for your concerns. Our goal is to design a solution that will enhance your life and not become a closet ornament. If an orthotic is not a viable solution, we work with other allied health care professionals to create an outcome you desire.

Our services are usually covered by private insurance, Workers Compensation Board, Alberta Aids to Daily Living, Veterans Affairs and Non-insured Health Benefits. If you have questions or could benefit from an orthotic, let us know! We would love to book you in for a free consultation to see if orthotics (bracing) is the right fit for you.
